Spiritual Formation Class
Class Introduction:
Scott Broberg with Fig Tree Ministries graciously agreed to teach a multi-part class for Nashville Sabbath Fellowship on the topic of Spiritual Formation (Mussar). Here is his brief introduction on the class:
In Christian circles it is called Spiritual Formation. In Judaism, Mussar.
We will look at the Biblical symbols of growth and talk about some practical things we can do to move our spirits in that direction.
Most importantly is why it is so important. If we can’t master our internal life there is no way we will be able to actually implement the command to “love your neighbor as yourself” or to forgive.
